Bulk Messaging module description

This functionality is designed to simultaneously send information, advertising, or service messages to a customized customer base. This tool is used to reactivate a "dormant" database, announce promotions, congratulate on holidays, or automatically inform about important changes in the company's work.

At the moment, The bulk messaging module is available for sending via connected communication channels in the Cascade project.

We have prepared a set of recommendations that will help to make such mailings safe and reduce the risk of blocking.

If your mailing is intended for many clients, we recommend the following:

- Use only the numbers of clients who have visited your salon for the mailing. (If you send to a database of unknown numbers, there is a high probability that your number will receive many reports and be blocked).

- Use a phone number that has been registered in WhatsApp for a long time and has a long history of conversations. New numbers that have never been used for WhatsApp conversations are more likely to be blocked.

- Fill in several variations of the bulk message template. You can prepare from 1 to 3 templates in the mailing list so that a variety of messages can be sent to a database of numbers.

- Set from 100 to 300 messages to be sent per day.

- Set a larger interval to limit the sending time to increase the pauses between messages.

If your channel is Instagram: You can only send a mass newsletter to customers who have written to you within 7 days. 

We also provide recommendations on how to set up bulk messaging via Whatsapp to reduce the risk of restrictions on your number, taking into account the current Whatsapp anti-spam policy:

  • We recommend setting the daily limit to 100–150 bulk messages. If the phone number has been flagged for spam or restricted before, it is likely on WhatsApp's watchlist. In this case, you should lower the daily limit to 50–100 messages.
  • Set the sending window as wide as possible, for example, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The system automatically calculates intervals between bulk messages based on your daily volume and the selected timeframe. Longer pauses significantly reduce the risk of getting blocked.
  • The bulk messaging tool allows you to create three message variations, which also helps minimize risks. Enter a unique text for each variation, and the system will randomly assign one of them to each recipient.
  • Whenever possible, we advise pausing other automated notifications while running a bulk messaging campaign. This is especially critical if you have multiple high-frequency notification templates active at the same time.
