Access Rights

Access Rights to Funnels and Deals

Why You Need to Configure Access Rights

By default, not all company employees need the same level of access to sales funnels and deals. For example, a new manager may only need to see their own deals, while a sales department head may need full access to all of the company’s funnels. Flexible permission settings help prevent accidental data changes, restrict visibility of sensitive information, and distribute responsibility within the team.

Where to Configure Access Permissions

To configure a specific employee’s access permissions for sales funnels and deals:

  1. Go to Settings → Project Employees.
  2. Open the profile of the desired employee.
  3. In the profile settings, specify the access level for funnels and deals.

What permissions can be configured

For each employee, you can individually specify exactly what they are allowed to do:

  • View — the team member can view funnels and deals but cannot make changes to them;
  • Edit — the employee can modify existing deals (move them between stages, change data, add comments, etc.);
  • Create — the employee can independently create new deals and/or funnels.

These permissions can be combined depending on the employee’s role—for example, you can grant a manager view and edit permissions but not the ability to create new funnels, reserving that capability exclusively for the supervisor.

Visibility of deals within a funnel

Additionally, for each funnel, you can configure exactly which deals an employee will see:

  • All deals in the funnel — the employee sees the full list of deals in the selected funnel, regardless of who is assigned to them;
  • Only their own deals — the employee sees only those deals where they are listed as the responsible manager.

This approach is useful when you need to limit a manager to working only with their own clients without granting access to other employees’ deals, while still allowing the manager or senior managers to see the full picture of the funnel.

Conclusion

Configuring access rights allows you to structure the sales funnel workflow so that each employee sees and can modify only what corresponds to their role on the team—this improves system organization and reduces the risk of accidental or unwanted data changes.
