Facebook works diligently to protect users from spam and unwanted commercial messages. All business activities on WABA are evaluated and monitored.
One of the tools used for this monitoring is the quality score. It is calculated based on data regarding communications with users. User complaints about spam have a significant impact on it, but there are other factors that are also taken into account. You can check your quality score by opening the “Phone Numbers” tab in WhatsApp Manager.
Contact Limits
There are a total of five so-called trust tiers. Your trust tier determines the number of users with whom you can initiate a conversation.
- Tier 0 — 250 unique conversations within 24 hours;
- Tier 1 — you can send messages to 2,000 unique customers within 24 hours;
- Tier 2 — 10,000 unique customers within 24 hours;
- Level 3 — 100,000 unique customers within 24 hours;
- Level 4 — an unlimited number of conversations with unique customers within 24 hours.
Each registered number is immediately assigned Level 0. To advance to Level 1, your company must either be verified in your Meta Business Suite account or meet the requirements for advancing to the next level (applies to all levels):
First, your quality score must not be low. Therefore, it is in your best interest to monitor it.
Second, within a 7-day period, the number of notifications sent must be twice the established daily limit for outgoing messages.
Consequently, to advance from Level 1 to Level 2, you must have sent 2,000 notifications while maintaining a quality score that is not low. After that, your trust level will continue to increase over the next few days.
Recommendations for Ensuring a High Level of Quality
