What are the benefits of WABA Coexistence?


Using WABA Coexistence provides a wide range of features, including:

  2. Templates can be sent manually via the messenger;
  3. The “Mass Messages” section allows you to launch a campaign using an approved template.

What Coexistence Offers (Connecting an Existing WhatsApp Business Number):

  1. You can continue communicating with customers via phone;
  2. In-app calls are still available;
  3. You can initiate a conversation via phone and then reply via the messenger to save on the cost of sending template messages, thereby avoiding the need to create a 24-hour window.

 

How does the integration work?

Some messages sent via WABA Coexistence are charged, while others are free. Here’s an explanation:

  1. Any incoming messages from customers are free.
  2. Your replies to customer messages within 24 hours are free.
  3. If a customer was directed to WhatsApp via an ad click (through Facebook Ads), your reply within 72 hours is free.
  4. Any messages sent from a phone are free.

So what is charged?

When you send a template message to a customer who hasn’t messaged you in the last 24 hours.

. Is it possible to make the company name and profile picture visible to customers?
Yes, this feature is available.
Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite: Go to Business Manager and open your WhatsApp Business (WABA) account.
  2. Go to number settings: Select the desired account, go to the “Phone Numbers” section, and click the pencil icon next to your number.
  3. Specify the company name: Enter the desired display name.
  4. Submit for review: After saving, Meta will automatically submit your request for approval.

Can you get a checkmark next to your name?

Yes! But this is more complicated than just setting a display name and profile picture.

When applying for the checkmark, there’s an important factor: “brand recognition.” To confirm your brand’s recognition, you’ll need to provide examples of your company being mentioned in the media

  1. Open an account in Facebook Business Manager
  2. Go to the “WhatsApp Manager” tab
  3. In the “Overview” tab, enter the phone number that will be displayed to your company’s customers in the profile
  4. Click “Submit Request”
  5. In the field that appears, add 5 links mentioning your organization
  6. Select your company’s language and country
  7. Submit your application for review
